For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. Hebrews 8:7, NIV We only emphasize that Christian life we are in is not based on another form of religious ritual but on a covenant. The question is what type of covenant are you in? Is it a covenant of religion or a covenant of love? It should be a covenant of love. Love is a person and that is God (see 1 John 4:16). The covenant we are in is a covenant based on who He is and not on who we are. It's based on what He has done and not on what we have done. When you sign an agreement form, you understand what type of covenant or agreement you are signing in. And this is the reason why still many Christians missed the true essence of Christianity. It's because they don't understand the covenant they are in. In result, many are so called Christians are still living a life like they don't have Christ. There's no real transformation happened. DMCI-Consunji’s desperate damage control moves in the wake of the strong series of Mindanao earthquakes are blowing up in its face.
After DMCI-Consunji tried to mislead the public by disowning two condos that were condemned by Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, even the condo that it publicly declared as owned by DMCI Homes, Verdon Parc, has been enveloped by lingering doubts on its structural integrity. Yahnalee Marundan Cabradilla, a five-year licensed broker, is among the people who doubts DMCI Homes assurance on the safety of Verdon Parc.
“There was an inquiry, a foreigner but I did not pursue because even I am not sure of the safety. The inquiry was about the Tower 2 of the Verdon Parc which will be turned over in March 2020 and I heard it was also affected. It sustained cracks,” said Cabradilla in a report by Sunstar Davao.

Cabradilla admitted that potential buyers have gotten cold feet after getting reports of quake-damaged condos from “a reputable and established company.”
DMCI Homes assured homeowners about the safety of Verdon Parc in an assessment report on the damage wrought by the 6.6-magnitude earthquake on October 29.
DMC Homes in-house design and engineering team and structural consultant Macro Consulting reported that the wall cracks in two of its three towers were “non-structural in nature” and could be fixed while the beams, columns, slabs showed no serous damage.
The report was released on October 31 or the same day Mindanao was rocked by a 6.5-magnitude tremor. Netizens noted that the Macro Consultant report was “outdated” and made i n haste and that DMCI-Consunji should tap an independent assessor to check whether Verdon Parc was safe.

The Verdon Parc letter was issued along with DMCI Homes’ unabashed denial that it had anything to do with two condominiums wrecked by the earthquakes – the nearby Ecoland 4000 Residences (Davao City’s first condo) and Palmetto Place. Both condos were built by D.M. Consunji Urban Property Developers Inc., which like DMCI Homes, is owned by the Consunji family.
