The thing we need to refresh as human is our mind. When our mind is well updated and doesn't function in an old process system, it will affect our whole human being too. As a result, we will release right emotion and right decision in our lives that will leads us to good success.
"that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind," Ephesians 4:23 NKJV
The bible is clear that the way to put off our old corrupted sinful man is by renewing the spirit of our minds. What enters your mind becomes your thoughts and the bible says our lives is shaped by our thoughts. (Proverbs 4:23GNT).
The way to renew our minds is by the Good News of Christ. Let hearing of the Gospel becomes the priority of our daily hearings. As the earth is spinning daily, expect it that you will always receive news about this world and any news that is apart from the Gospel or Good News of Christ is bad news. That's the reason why most of the people are burdened, heavily laden, its because of the lack of hearing of the Gospel.
That's why the bible says, meditate it day and night. (Joshua 1:8, Psalms 1:2). Meditate the Good News of Christ day and night. You can choose to listen to a Christ-centered sermons, or you can read a Christ-centered devotionals, you can also read your bible but in the light of the new covenant, or you can listen to a Christ-centered songs. Do it before the beginning of the day and before your bedtime and you will notice that you are sandwich by the peace of God on the inside you, leading you once step at a time to good success. That's how we refresh or renew our minds. Renew your mind daily and let not the devil capture your thoughts.
