For some people money is like God for them because they say that they will not live without it. But this is opposite from the word of God is saying. Jesus' said, "Apart from Me, you can do nothing"(John 15:5).
This is not how God teaches us. The thought that says that "YOU CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MONEY" is a devil's idea and it makes us focus to ourselves rather than our Lord Jesus and what He has done at Calvary. Its a trap that makes us fall away from God. Yes we need money in everyday living but this is not the reason why we are breathing. Its not about money but about right thoughts playing in our minds. The reason why we live is God. Without Him, we are nothing. When we know that apart from Christ we are nothing and in Him we can do anything, money can never enslave us.
Your Heavenly Father is more than willing to see His children living in abundance and every parents knows it. That's why He gave up His only Son that through His poverty we might become rich (see 2 Corinthians 8:9). Friends, don't forget that we are living under grace. Grace is all about Christ and what He has done at Calvary. You are living under the finished work and it takes faith to taste and see His goodness.
