Dealing In The New Covenant

For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.  Hebrews 8:7, NIV We only emphasize that Christian life we are in is not based on another form of religious ritual but on a covenant. The question is what type of covenant are you in? Is it a covenant of religion or a covenant of love? It should be a covenant of love. Love is a person and that is God (see 1 John 4:16). The covenant we are in is a covenant based on who He is and not on who we are. It's based on what He has done and not on what we have done.  When you sign an agreement form, you understand what type of covenant or agreement you are signing in. Escaping The Miserable Self | Jaccel Aclan

Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord.

 Romans 7:24-25a NLT

Have you found yourself miserable or unhappy? You are not alone. Even Apostle Paul in the bible has recorded that He came to the point that he felt to himself that he was miserable. He felt that his life was doomed to die. Have you ever been in that situation? A situation of feeling hopeless? If you are in that situation be glad for there is a way out. The answer to the way out is a person. That's our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our key verse clearly stated that the answer to a better life cannot be found in ourselves. The answer is only found in Christ. If you will search the answer to yourself and your surroundings all you will find out is your shortcomings and failures. Yes, you can strive to be rich, famous, and family oriented person but still unhappy and miserable in the end. Its because that's ourselves. Ourselves is failing since from the beginning when sin came in. But here's the good news, Christ overcame sin and death.(see 1 Peter 2:24).

In the middle of your miserable situation look to Him. Hope is now found in Christ and no longer in ourselves. When your thoughts is fixed on Him, miserable self ends up. Healing, health, provisions, blessing, favor, wholeness will flow.

Thoughts of the day:

"The answer to my miserable self is Christ. My hope is now found in Him"
