Dealing In The New Covenant

For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.  Hebrews 8:7, NIV We only emphasize that Christian life we are in is not based on another form of religious ritual but on a covenant. The question is what type of covenant are you in? Is it a covenant of religion or a covenant of love? It should be a covenant of love. Love is a person and that is God (see 1 John 4:16). The covenant we are in is a covenant based on who He is and not on who we are. It's based on what He has done and not on what we have done.  When you sign an agreement form, you understand what type of covenant or agreement you are signing in. Day 37: Victory From The Inside

Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.

Exodus 14:13

Are you facing a difficult situation today? Take the word of the Lord. The Egyptians you see today, you will never see again. No matter how big or small that problem is, you will never see it again. By how it will happen? It is by knowing that the Lord is fighting for you. Look what the proceeding verse says,

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.(Exodus 14:14)”

At the cross, we already got the victory. when our Lord Jesus cried, "It is finished". His victory is also our victory. His death, burial and resurrection is our death, burial and resurrection too.

We resurrected, we dominated death, because Christ paid all our sins at the cross. We will reign over sin, sickness, poverty, brokeness in life. We are victors to this earth and not victims simply because of His blood shed on the cross.

That's what it means to be still. Be still in the knowledge of who you are in Christ and what He has done on the cross for us. Look what our Lord Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

Friends, in Christ we have peace. In Christ we overcame the world, we overcame trials, troubles in this world. Having your life in Christ is having your life in victory. Breakthrough is coming. Victory is manifesting in every aspect of our lives its because of the finished work of Christ and by His Spirit living on the inside of us. Proclaim your victory today!

Thoughts Of The Day:
