Dealing In The New Covenant

For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.  Hebrews 8:7, NIV We only emphasize that Christian life we are in is not based on another form of religious ritual but on a covenant. The question is what type of covenant are you in? Is it a covenant of religion or a covenant of love? It should be a covenant of love. Love is a person and that is God (see 1 John 4:16). The covenant we are in is a covenant based on who He is and not on who we are. It's based on what He has done and not on what we have done.  When you sign an agreement form, you understand what type of covenant or agreement you are signing in. And this is the reason why still many Christians missed the true essence of Christianity. It's because they don't understand the covenant they are in. In result, many are so called Christians are still living a life like they don't have Christ. There's no real transformation happened. They think Christian...

The Gospel Message of Christmas

And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. [Luke 2:7]

As we become busy to prepare for this season. As we become busy to do other cultural activities pertaining to this season. May we not miss the gospel message of this season.

And the gospel or the good news God wants us to know is that Christ was born not just in a manger but also in our hearts.

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. [John 14:16-18]

This is the promised we can lean on. The promised of the Holy Spirit living in us and abiding with us forever (see Ephesians 1:3). You are not alone. You are not forsaken. Through Christ living inside you, you are fully complete.

3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. [Titus 3:3-7]

When we were once a sinner, the kindness and the love of God for us appeared demonstrated it on the cross. He saved us not because of the good things we have done but because of His mercy, through the washing and renewing of the Holy Spirit whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior. And also, through this love and kindness, we have been justified freely by HIs grace. What an assurance of hope we have in Christ!

Like our key verse tell us, have you made room for a Savior to be born in your heart? If yes, be glad for you have, the good news of great joy which is the Savior was born in you who is Christ the Lord.

If Christ is in you, you have everything you need!
